So far great boots style and great grip, they have a heel which gives me a little height, always a bonus, have mainly worn them in town - after a full day on my feet, definitely need to get out of them - but they are still new, so hopefully they will wear in.

Really researched reviews and similar styles before purchasing on impulsive because timberlands are good investment generally. You don't mind paying extra when quality is good and items last and are comfortable. These however are the worst timberlands I have ever purchased. The lug sole is very attractive and I think the pull on elastic theme going on with sneakers and boots is unfortunate. If this same style was made available with a side zipper and more fitted people would pay up to 180 for these boots. Please bring back these style boots with a side zip. Now I have a new pair of tims..that I can't wear and enjoy...and leary of buying or trying another for this season...miss the old styles from the late 90s early 2000s.
