Hopper Flip 8, YETI

I have used this lunchbox for over a year and it’s been good so far!

Bought this cooler in Dec 2023 after extensive research, hoping that I wouldn't have to buy a new one again for a significant length of time. To be perfectly honest, until the last few months, it's worked great. Rattles around in my work vehicle for 12 hours without complaint, even in extreme heat. Wipes clean and doesn't hold smells. Keeps food chilled for the full 12 hours. Until the seal around the zipper started to fail. It's flaking and the zipper is very clearly no longer watertight. I'm not sure how long it's going to keep things cold without that black sealant on both the inside and outside of the zipper. Reached out to Yeti's warranty department and they agreed to replace it. Again, no issue. Until they tell me they don't have my navy blue colour in stock, I can't request that fantastic new Pacer Purple and "premium colours will require an additional charge." I'm not sure what constitutes a premium colour, as the only colours listed on the site are "seasonal" or "core." They also can't guarantee that I'll get the colour I've asked for. This is super annoying and disappointing. I own several Yeti products because they stand up to 12 hour shifts in hard environments. I could understand if the cooler had literally worn out, or if I'd damaged it. But I followed the care instructions and the zipper is failing. Now I'm worried I'm going to be stuck with a product with the same issue in a colour I don't like for a product that I frankly paid a premium for. Honestly? I'm going to be moving to a cooler with a different company that charges me less up front and guarantees me replacement parts for reasonable prices.

Everything would’ve been OK if it happened. I broke a the zipper puller. It was tough to go around the corners. It’s been like that ever since I got it but it’s been doing OK. I thank y’all for helping me with it but if you can, please give me the green one if you don’t have that, just give me the yellow one.

I bought seven of this 8 Hopper soft cooler for graduation gifts and will go back to grab one for myself. The perfect size for daily lunch and lighter than my Roadie 15 that I also LOVE. I know the young people I bought them for will have and enjoy them for a long time.

Zipper is extremely rough to open and top won’t stay open … makes it a pain to organize items inside, take multiple items out or in the cooler , regret the expensive purchase a bit… a positive is , it looks cool

I love my YETI 8 cooler. It’s perfect for a round of golf and fits perfectly on the back of my remote golf cart. Everything is cold, especially useful since I store my EpiPen in there as well. Keeps my apples fresh and my protein bars don’t melt.
