They haven't blown my mind

il y a 5 jours
I have no idea how good or how long these shoes will hold up under work stress. I’ve worn these shoes 3-4 times out and about for periods of 2-4 hours. Nothing glaring with regards to pain or strain so far. I’m trying to break them in gradually. A few points to start for this shoe. The laces never stay tied unless you double knot them. Under normal tied non-double knot circumstances the best you may get is 2 hours tied. The worst might be 30-45 minutes. Although the insole/footbed feels a lot more normal compared to other timberlands, it’s really thin and doesn’t have any arch support. I have no idea how it’s an anti-fatigue insole when it looks like it will get crushed and worn out in no time. In saying that, maybe the midsole and the center stabilization is built in a way to offset that and make it feel normal. Normally I have to get 9.5’s to offset that my right foot is a larger 9. 9’s in this model are working for me and could work for you instead of going 9.5. The width and spacing works good for my feet. The toe box is of a more spacious design. Not the biggest. Far from the most crammed. I initially went to the store to try them on, walked around in them and they seemed fine. One problem is that I had to get these through an employment Ontario program so the service provider was required to order them and have them shipped to their location. The ones that were delivered to the office where I picked them up, while definitely new, do not fit quite like the ones in the store. The left shoe that I received is harder to tie tight compared to the pair in the store. The left shoe that I received is also harder to tie tight compared to the right-foot shoe that I received. Hopefully I can work that in. Also in the left that I received, there's a weird fabric "popping" happening. When I walk, during the bend/flex when it indents in, I can feel a small part of the fabric pop-in to hit the left side of my foot closer to my toes. While it doesn't at all hurt, it's kind of annoying. The more that I’ve walked in them and worked them in the more the popping is going away. I’m hoping that I can work it fully away in a reasonable amount of time otherwise this is a manufacturers defect. The insoles also didn’t fit properly to start. I had to crush them in under the weight of my body. Maybe it starts out that way for this model. I don’t know. I can’t attest to how they’ll hold up over time. If you use these on an outdoor construction site or where you have to frequently go indoors to outdoors and vice-versa well that would be stupid. If you’re a mostly indoor electrician, and you actually stay indoors, maybe these will work but these are definitely more aligned with general labour inside of a warehouse or working in the back-room stock area of a retail store or an assembly line. You have to stay in your lane with these shoes.

I have the shoes for 3 weeks and the side has already split and ripped. These shoes were 190 dollars. Don’t waste your money. Garbage quality

Comfortable but bad materials quality

il y a un mois
They are very comfortable for my wide feet—no breaking-in period was needed, and the fit was perfect. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the uppers; within just a couple of months, both boots cracked at the flex point.

Timber-Junk PRO

Arguably the worst work shoe I've ever purchased. Two & half months into wearing these and the sides are tearing where the shoe bends / flexes. I don't know what happened to Timberland PRO but I'd label these just as bad as the boots after they changed what the soles were previously made from. These can't take daily wear at all. I'd love to upload pictures but I don't see an option for that on this window.
