Overall the gloves were very good but my tips of my fingers got cold almost hurting. It was below zero wind chill but still dissappointed

The gloves fit well. They are very warm. The cinch on the wrist is a little difficult to operate with the glove on. The most annoying part is that the lining of the glove does not come out at all. My first use my hands got very sweaty. Three days later and the gloves still aren't dry. Guess that's common sense to some folks, but I've never had a need for gloves like this before. I would think it would be common sense to be able to pull the lining inside out, wash it, and stuff it back in the glove. I suppose we're all lacking in common sense here. I guess I'll use these until they stink too bad then look to see if the design has been improved. If not, I'll probably look for a pair that can be cleaned. If they fix the hygiene issue and the cinch, I don't know what else you could ask for in a glove. Good fit, very warm, waterproof.

Not for hard work

I got these as a Christmas gift. The size runs a little snug, but they are a very warm glove.... unless you are doing hard work. The liner gets wet from perspiration during hard work and does not dry out . I wore them during plowing with the big snowstorm we just had in the northeast and they've been in a warm room for three days now, and the liner is still damp inside. The waterproofing works fine, but also seems to prevent the liner drying.
I guess it's back to my regular winter gloves now. Someone needed to think this fully through!

Gloves do not dry normally and get mildew inside. They are pretty warm and well made but need special accomodations.

Pretty good gloves! But they don't dry by themselves. If you use them in the rain or snow they will remain wet inside and get mildew. Just got them and already have to wash them because of mildew smell after some light use in the snow (shoveling)
Will try drying them on a papertowel roll or something.

Warm gloves......turned smelly

Really Warm gloves - but not breathable. Now my awesomely warm gloves smell like hockey gear and I can't wear them. iykyk....I washed them and that didn't help much. I called Carhartt and they said I could buy another pair. I walk in the winter and wear these regularly below 32 deg. I have other pairs for warmer temps. I'm 5'9" 165 and mostly run the other 3 seasons. I've only had about a year and barely used them last winter. Like I said they're warm......

I'm not pleased with these gloves. I bought them for my fiancé for Christmas. He wears them when walking. They hold the sweat and cold and don't dry out after taking them off and leaving them sit overnight. The inside is cloth not waterproof and don't dry out. Typically pleased with Carhart Clothing but do not recommend these gloves
