Description

Rated 4 de 5 de par Looking Good, Not performing as good though Bought those about 4 months ago. Took a couple weeks to break in but they feel comfortable after that. However, the arctic traction didn't live up to expectations as advertised. It's still better than an average boot but coming from Kodiak, it's a bit of a downgrade for more money. Insulator is good, but still inferior to Kodiak. Have to keep moving to stay warm. The reason I went for those boots was advertised performance and looks. Good thing i bought them on a discount, though.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Rien d'extraordinaire! Je suis déçu de l'adhérence sur la glace, pas mieux que n'importe quel autre botte

Rated 1 de 5 de par Vibram Arctic Grip Soles Disintegrated ! I bought these boots about 3 years ago and only wore them when we had real winter conditions. Otherwise they were stored in the closet. This January the sidewalks were covered in snow and I decided to go for a little walk. Never made it to the first street corner when the fabulous Vibram Arctic Grip Soles began to detach. By the time I made it home the soles were hanging on only by the toes! Imagine going on a winter hike and winding up in your sock feet in the middle of nowhere!

Rated 4 de 5 de par A goof boot but I have been walking in these boots this winter. I live in a small town so walking is done on packed snow on the streets. They give good traction on slippery streets other than glass hard ice and snow. Then there is not the traction I would like. Do not expect them to be as good as the studs. A big advantage over studs is not having anything to remove when going into stores to shop. They could use more insulation. In real cold weather you have to keep moving to keep your feet warm.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Well made boot. I bought these boots and they are very warm. They give very good ankle support. The tread has excellent grip on icy surfaces as advertised.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Grandson loves them Bought them for grandson. I cannot 'rate' them as I've never worn them; however, grandson loves them

Rated 1 de 5 de par Poor on Ice or Rain and Snow mixed I have been wearing it for 3 days now. The shoe is definitely waterproof and it keeps heat inside but when it comes to the grip, it is not sufficient. I could have slipped 4 times today only. I consider that the grip is not working as expected on icy or snow rain surfaces. I also usually wear number 8 and I had to use 10 on this one to be comfortable because the front is a bit narrow. Well for $180+tax, I definitely won’t recommend it
