Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend Soles fell off after only a few months of light use! I ended up having to do a 3 day hike with the boots duct-taped onto my legs so I wouldn't be barefoot, as the soles had failed mid-way through a multi-day hike. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from returned false advertising, goretex and timberdry is mixed, for this boot there is no more goretex but timberdry. timberdry is almost same as goretex but just build differently

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I was unsure after reading the reviews whether these boots would be a good purchase or not. When trying them on I noticed one boot had a pressure point on the arch of my foot, but decided to buy them anyways. After one day of wearing, the pressure point disappeared (literally flattened out). I've worn these boots for one season of hiking in Alberta, through tall wet grass, puddles as deep as the toe, mud, rock, snow and ice. My feet have never gotten wet. I would say if your feet get wet with these, return them as that pair is defective. These are my third pair of Timberland footwear and I've never been disappointed. My other two steel toe pairs are still going after 10 years of heavy, heavy use but are restricted to around the house now as the tread has worn off. Don't pay full price though, buy them on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I bought these 4 months ago & going to buy another pair because they are so comfortable & light weight which really surprised me for how rugged they look . Not great for working a shovel to dig as there is no steel shake , but they are meant for hiking etc. Nice feel on rocks & ground as they are a fairly soft rubber. Not really waterproof but you won’t get wet in tall wet grass or the odd water puddle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These boots are only built to be left on the shoe rack These are very comfortable, however, these boots only lasted 6 months before the sole fell half way off. I used them only for work (office and walking on concrete floors) and once for "hiking". It was a 3 mile trail with a 4 year old and 2 year old so not a challenging trail. The soles are not worn out and the top has plenty of life left. Shoes fail, it happens, however, Timberland does not even stand behind their own products. Returned them for warranty review and they sent them back with a letter, "The product displayed physical signs that equal or exceed the expectation for the use of the product." "Our warranty does not cover the replacement of products that have been SUFFICIENTLY worn." as far as I can see, they are not "hiking" boots. They are only built to sit on the shoe rack.
