Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Water Protection Look great, sturdy and water repellent. A little heavier than expected but still great for a delivery job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Took them back They were the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. The tongue bunched up and dug into the top of my foot. Seems to be a design flaw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boots I've purchased these boots before and so far they are the only ones that hold up to the riggers of an excavation crew's work (about a year). If you can image the abuse boots get in this environment, then double it! Every other boot I've tried only lasts 4 to 6 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good water proof . Ankle part worn out I bought this 2 years ago . Just recently done a review to help people to decide weather a good or bad choice to make. Less than a year wearing this boots.I’m a truck delivery driver, more walking up and down by the stair to various weather. Ankle part worn out easily . Decided to have it repair from shoe repair shop .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from B rating waterproof boots I bought these boots about a year ago last fall, I wanted something waterproof that wasn't a rubber boot type because gum boots don't breathe and I soak driwear liners easily! With a composite plate you'll notice going up stairs how light it is compared to normal ST/SP boots and I'm a big fan of duratoe type covering on my boots. I worked outdoors around concrete and the boots clean pretty easily from all the mud, concrete, and marking paint the top laces are kind of stupid but it's nice to have the padding in the back and around the cuff of the boot. I have wide feet and they fit alright. The break in period wasn't so bad at all the leathers pretty supple and moveable. I use insoles bought from marks the sofsole black and orange type Now onto negatives: the boots don't breathe too good, a hideous odour rises from my boots but that's probably because I sweat a lot. And now I've noticed the seams beginning to crack and seperate. Overall I'm happy with the life of my boots and I'm getting a new pair now but I wanted to write about this one before I try some nice hi tech CT or AT boots

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots So Far Lasted 4 years before the fabric on the back destroyed itself. Shoe laces last about 6 months each and I have replaced the insoles several times to keep them comfy. Initially they were warm, but as the insulation broke down they were just like any other boot.Best boots I have had so far, but looking for a boot that doesn't have fabric on the outside that will fail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 529 boots are painful I bought these 529 boots to replace my other Dakota boots that I have had for along time , however from the time I started wearing these boots , I have never experienced such an uncomfortable boot, in the store they felt fine , but after only half a day on my feet , I have to say these have got to be the worst boot I have ever worn as far as comfort . To think I spent that much money on something that is so brutal on the feet is just unimaginable. I had to go out an buy a replacement pair of boots , there was just no way I could stand on my feet all day with these terrible boots . Just a word to the wise , ( don't buy these boots )
